Members heard from the Director of Planning, Regeneration & Communities regarding the 2026/27 Business Plan for Market Street Renewal Ltd. She provided a summary of the company’s performance over 2025/26, and the business plan forecasts through to 2028/29.
It was explained there was a vacant Director role on the board of the company, with the Committee being asked to approve the appointment of the soon-to-be appointed Director of Environmental and Cultural Services into the vacancy.
Members voiced their support for, and pleasure at, the regeneration within Gainsborough town centre, stating the area had been transformed.
Having been proposed and seconded, and with no further indications to speak, the Chairman took the vote and it was
RESOLVED that
a) the Market Street Renewal Limited Business Plan be noted; and
b) the vacant company director role be filled by the Director of Environmental and Cultural Services once appointed.
