Full Council sets the Council’s budget
and the level of council tax. It is also responsible for

removing the Leader of the Council; and establishing and appointing
the membership of the various committees of the Council.
Meetings are chaired by the Chairman of the
Council. Meetings are open to the public and members of the
public can submit questions in advance for response at a Full
Council meeting. Petitions from local people are submitted to
and debated at Full Council.
The Council normally meets 7 times a year.
